I think the president was much more involved in the shutdown of parks and other federal sites then Christie was in the bridge onramp shutdown. I also think that the intentional shutdown of federal services was uncalled for, unnecessary and intentionally punitive. Yet the media ignores it. I think one of the conservative congressmen should submit a bill that would prevent future shutdowns of public places and national parks during a fight over the budget.
