House defies Obama, approves bill halting Syrian refugees
By an overwhelming, veto-proof majority, The House of Representatives approved a bill toughening up the vetting process on Syrian refugees. 47 Democrats defied President Obama and voted in favor of passage in a stinging rebuke! The final vote was 289 - 137.
