I can’t hold this back any longer… Allen West

Viral Post - I can’t hold this back any longer…
Our website editor will be upset I’m writing about football, but something like this doesn’t happen often. I am stoked that for the second time in my lifetime, I will actually have my hometown team playing in the Super Bowl, the Atlanta Falcons. Last time they made it was January 31, 1999 in then-Pro Player Stadium in Miami against the Denver Broncos. We lost 34-19. However, this year has been a miraculous football year in that the Tennessee Volunteers finally beat Florida. Army finally beat Navy… and Fidel Castro died — had to throw that one in there. So, I am hopeful. And just so y’all know, I will be in Wheeling, West Virginia with my oldest daughter Aubrey, so we’ll have to find an awesome place to watch the game. “Rise Up!” Go Falcons.
Now as I think about the big game this Sunday, I remember back as a young boy going to visit my granddad down in Cuthbert, Georgia. He lived on South Street across from the big open field in front of what used to be Randolph County High School. We’d gather there and play tackle football in that open field…no pads! That was back when kids didn’t look for safe spaces and we were rough and tumble. The ol’ folks would gather on the front porches and watch us hammer each other, and I mean it could get brutal. You could hear the ol’ men yell out when there was a crack hit, a long run, or a deep pass. They’d also yell out sometimes, “it’s all fun boys until someone gets hurt.”
Now, I must be careful about what I’m about to say because y’all know the left, and they’ll spin anything in order to demean, denigrate, and disparage you. But, this is something that must be stated, and I shall do so bluntly.

In the past 72 hours, we’ve seen vicious and violent attacks and assaults by the leftist progressive socialists against conservatives. And I want to warn these savage anarchists and rioters just as the ol’ folks would advise us, “it’s all fun until someone gets hurt.”
The images emanating from inauguration day, California-Berkeley, and NYU need cause us major concern. That, combined with the lack of any condemnation from Democrat Party leaders and the embracing of these violent acts by prominent leftists, is very disconcerting.

Can anyone imagine what the liberal progressive media would have been saying if this were back in 2009 and we were two weeks into the Obama administration and these actions were happening? The duplicitous hypocrisy is astounding, and the blatant disregard and dismissal from reporting by the leftist media is telling.

And to think that they’re blaming not the ones conducting the assault, but the targets of the assaults as the source of this anger. It is as if the left is telling America, since you didn’t vote how we wanted you to, you shall suffer the consequences of our anger, our savagery. And yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s domestic terrorism and barbarism to spit on people, spray them with pepper spray — and how many times must we see or hear about killing the President of the United States?
See, it’s all fun for the left until someone gets hurt…and here it is bluntly, I am talking about when one of these anarchists and violent rioters crosses the line with the one person — and gets hit back.
You can bet as soon as that happens, it will be front page news everywhere…that an innocent “protester” was targeted and injured by racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, deplorable, undesirable members of the “alt-right.”
However, my caution to these violent leftists supported by George Soros is that the day is coming when you will encounter Americans who will not run and cower from your intimidation and coercive tactics.
Let me be clear, spraying a person in the face with pepper spray is assault, and the victims have every right to defend themselves. Going around dragging people from their cars and assaulting them on the street is not a game, it is a crime, and there are consequences to those criminal actions. The destruction of property is not a Fiirst Amendment right, it is criminal. And there is no excuse for these heinous and nefarious actions, regardless of what Uncle George Soros, and the community organizer Barack Obama may be saying, or in this case, not saying.
Let me remind you petulant progressive socialists the words of Barack Obama: “I won, get over it.” When Obama was talking about Republicans going to the back of the bus, I don’t recall any buildings being set on fire. When Obama spoke of not taking a knife to a gun fight, constitutional conservatives weren’t out punching liberal progressives, pelting them with eggs, or pepper-spraying them.
The constitutional conservative movement known as the Tea Party was based on a policy issue — as a matter of fact, TEA stood for “Taxed Enough Already.” There was nothing racist; it was centered on anger at the ramming through of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and the exploding US debt. (And again, the debt was $10.67 trillion when Obama took office, but $19.5 trillion when he departed).
Furthermore, what the constitutional conservative movement ended up doing was winning at the ballot box — first the House of Representatives in 2010 and the U.S. Senate in 2014. As well, the conservative grassroots movement flipped many gubernatorial seats along with State legislatures…there was no burning of property, certainly not on the day Obama was inaugurated in 2009 or 2012.
And to have American entertainers like Bruce Springsteen stand before a foreign audience and declare he was embarrassed to be an American…well, he won’t be exposed to rocks thrown at him or anything of that nature. But the artist calling himself “The Boss” might end up going the way of the Dixie Chicks. If being embarrassed to be an American is all about having your totalitarian way, then you never understood the greatness of America anyway, sir.
My advice to the left is this, your response to the November 8th 2016 election isn’t endearing yourself to anyone. You may feel, as the left operates in the realm of emotion, that you’re achieving some demented goal, but in essence you’re relegating yourselves to a permanent national political minority status.
Liberty-loving Americans will NEVER live under your tyrannical yoke, as evidenced by this abhorrent behavior. You’ve just found out that the “silent majority” IS a majority, and outside of your elitist enclaves such as New York and California, college and university campuses, and failing urban centers, you are the minority. Your violent nature is now known, and it’s a clear and present danger to the future of this Constitutional Republic…and there are many who took an oath to support and defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign, and DOMESTIC. So when Sara Silverman admonishes the military to overthrow the Trump administration, my dear, you are barking up the wrong tree.
Be advised, the day is coming when your misguided and violent resistance movement is met by those who are not willing to be attacked, assaulted and degraded. I know your liberal media is shielding you and not exposing you for who you are, but we know.
These actions are not in keeping with our longstanding traditions of freedom of expression and the right to petition our government for redress of grievances. And it appears the progressive socialist definition of free speech, is speech that they deem acceptable, speech s compliant with their ideology. And in many ways, the progressive socialist left, in these instances, are no different from Islamo-fascists…who also use fear, coercion, intimidation…and violence, as a means to achieve their ends.
Just remember y’all, like the ol’ folks would say back in Cuthbert, Georgia, “it’s all fun boys, until someone gets hurt.” You can push people only so far until there is that equal and opposition reaction. And here’s where the left will attempt to spin what I’m saying, bit you will fail. The point is simple, and it was codified in this early American motto, “Don’t Tread on Me”…and don’t complain if and when people defend themselves against your violence. After all, that is our right.
