Going Viral: Here’s the Reason George W. Bush Didn’t Leave D.C. Until the day After Christmas

Here’s the Reason George W. Bush Didn’t Leave D.C. Until the day After Christmas is going viral right now.  From Young Conservatives:

If there’s one thing President Obama is a master at, it’s taking tax payer funded vacations, doing what he does best: nothing.
The way Obama takes vacations, particularly around the holidays is in stark contrast to the way former President George W. Bush used to do things when he was in office.
Bush would never leave D.C. until the day after Christmas.
The reason why is awesome.
From TheBlaze:
However, according to journalist Joseph Curl, who previously covered the White House, former President George W. Bush went on Christmas vacation in a way that stands in direct contrast to President Barack Obama.
“[H]ere’s the thing: In December, we never left Washington, D.C., until the day after Christmas. Never. Mr. Bush and his wife, Laura, would always depart the White House a few days before the holiday and hunker down at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland,” Curl wrote in a 2013 column that wasrepublished Thursday.
After a few years, curiosity finally got to the former Washington Times reporter and he asked a low-level administration official why.
“I still remember what she said,” Curl wrote. “’So all of us can be with our families on Christmas.’”
“Who was ‘us’? Hundreds and hundreds of people, that’s who. Sure, the reporters who covered the president, but also dozens and dozens on his staff, 100 Secret Service agents, maybe more, and all of those city cops required whenever the president’s on the move in D.C.,” Curl added in his column.
President Obama, on the other hand, takes off for his Christmas vacation way before the holiday starts, dragging hundreds of folks with him who have to leave their families behind.
One of these men exemplifies self-sacrificing leadership. Care to guess which one?
While Bush certainly had flaws and wasn’t the greatest president in history by any stretch of the imagination, he certainly possessed far greater character than Obama, and this is just one example that illustrates this point eloquently.

Yes! POTUS 41 and POTUS 43 examplified far better Character and Administrative capabilities than pOTUS 42 and pOTUS 44. One argument for this is the Bush family being raised in a wealthy family situation partially limits the hard scrabble need for a character raised to survive in the "must have" environment of Washington Sleaze to survive.

This might answer for pOTUS 42 smarmy L.B.J. clutch and grab political approach, but surely not in his need to dominate through sexual intimidation of vulnerable women,

The above partial understanding is not attributal to pOTUS 44. Normally a person raised either in a situation of familial situation disabled members or rising from humble beginnings have an innate compassion which occasionally must be curtailed when the situations requires this. Realistically this is rarely if ever shown with pOTUS 44. His "my way or the highway" attitude is obviously present and can easily be attributed to early years of 1950's Communist family indoctrination, including a possible premise of pOTUS 44 rearing to be "The One" enhanced through various funding examples of Democrat/Other back room training programs.
