If Russia decides to take the gloves off they can't lose. So far they haven't trotted out their A units. They are keeping those in reserve in case either China or NATO decide to get sporty. But the only way Russia loses is if they give up and go home. Ukraine can make it a VERY costly win but on their own the Ukrainians can't win.
Is this the same genius General Wesley Clark who almost started a war against Russia back in Yugoslavia? As Supreme Commander of NATO forces, he ordered a British army unit to attack a Russian force holding an airport. Thankfully, the British officer responsible refused to obey this direct order. Normally, refusing to obey a direct military order from a commanding officer would result in a court martial. A very sensible British officer refused to launch an unprovoked attack on Russian troops. General Wesley Clark went on to run a totally failed run for the US Presidency. Thanks Wes. Your wisdom can only cause an even bigger war.

I guess there must be a good reason why we have to be involved but why doesn’t Poland simply give the MIGs to Ukraine?
