My wife was paying slightly less than $600. She just received her premium notice. She has a choice of plans. one is $992 and the other is $1,125.
Obamacare seems like the perfect opportunity for a tax protest. And by that I mean everyone drops insurance coverage and simultaneously refuses to pay the fine. They can't arrest all of us, at least not as long as the second amendment stands. Can you imagine that? Blacked-out government storm troopers dragging off some poor family because they refused to pay an absurd and frankly unconstitutional fee? I'm sure that would go over well with the masses.
(The 'penalty' is loss of property without due process from any sane perspective.)
