- AOL straw poll: Who won Friday Night's debate? McCain 67% - Obama 33% (162,224 voters)
- Talk Show host Hugh Hewitt put up a very interesting round by round (question by question) tally of how each man did at the debate. You can look at it here.
- And famous blogger Michelle Malkin has an excellent in-depth debate roundup you can read here.
- Did Obama have a "Looking at his watch moment Friday night?"

Nice place here
Fox is a little miffed at McCain right now, don't know why. It will pass.
Drudge is right on the money! Any skilled debater knows McCain won that debate.
I closed my eyes for good portions of it and just listened to them; McCain held more substance, not just lofty been-tried rhetoric. I found McCain redundant with some statements at times in the sense that it would supply fodder for the loonies. That said, there was an awful lot of space/blanks in most of what Obama had to say; sounded nice but it was empty of anything that would be a real challenge to it. It all just flowed from years of talking points ignoring the fact that what he would like to do is already happening or has happened...he's a great twister.
(Check out the Common Cents logo at http://demediacraticnation.blogspot.com/ right column...steal a copy if you want. If you use it and want to change the background color to match a color here lemme know.) I'm not doing much there of any depth these days or consistently, just visiting it on occasion.

I sure wish Gallup and Rasmussen were showing the same today as the Drudge.
Come on, Palin! Shake things up!

I sure wish Gallup and Rasmussen were showing the same today as the Drudge. But it's far from over.
Come on, Palin! Shake things up!
