The Democratic Governor of Illinois Rob Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were both arrested by FBI agents on federal corruption charges Tuesday morning. Blagojevich and Harris were arrested simultaneously at their homes at about 6:15 a.m., and then both were transported to FBI headquarters in Chicago. Blagojevich had been under investigation for nearly three years and today's arrest was over multiple charges. Drudge had been all over this story and you can get the latest updates here. The updates have been fast and furious but the latest is:Blagojevich tried to sell Obama's open Senate seat.Blagojevich in his own words caught on tape ""I've got this thing and it's f***ing golden, and, uh, uh, I'm just not giving it up for f***in' nothing. I'm not gonna do it. And I can always use it. I can parachute me there," Blagojevich said in a phone call secretly recorded by the FBI on November 5, the day after the election, according to the affidavit. The FBI affidavit said Blagojevich had been told by an adviser "the President-elect can get ROD BLAGOJEVICH's wife on paid corporate boards in exchange for naming the President-elect's pick to the Senate." Told by two other advisers he has to "suck it up" for two years, the FBI says it heard Blagojevich complain he has to give this "motherf***er [the President-elect] his Senator. F*** him. For nothing? F*** him.

Ya, Obama never did ANYTHING WRONG IN HIS LIFE, right? He hasn't spoken to Blagojevich (close..I refuse to learn to spell his name..what do I CARE?!) but Axelrod says HE HAS..OOPS!
Is Obama EVER going to learn NOT TO LIE? If he were a Republican, Congress would have stood still and been examining whether or not the new Republican president-elect shouldn't be investigated before this whole thing proceeded.....after all...He'd LIED!!
