Senator Ted Kennedy. RIP

Senator Ted Kennedy passed away today. Kennedy served in the Senate since 1962 and was known as the "Lion of the Senate". He made friends on both of the political aisle and will be missed.

Kennedy's most famous speech and the pinnacle of his career was in 1980 at the Democratic National Convention in New York. The speech is know as "Dream shall never die" speech.

"For me, a few hours ago, this campaign came to an end," Kennedy said. "For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."
