Mr. and Mrs. Common Cents visit Bermuda:

There was a good reason that Common Cents had little posting last week. Mr and Mrs Common Cents visited Bermuda on the Celebrity Summit Cruise Ship. We went with 14 people to celebrate Mr. Common Cents transitioning out of the US Military.

It was a excellent family reunion and good times were had by all. We hope you enjoy these vacation pictures:

Crystal Cave is spectacular.

Dan (a good friend of Mr. Common Cents) pilots the Catamaran

One of hundreds of bays that dot the islands of Bermuda

St Peter's Church - the oldest Anglican Church in the Western Hemisphere

The Main Dining room in the Celebrity Summit

The sunsets are spectacular

Bermuda has dozens of Forts that protected the island.

Really enjoyed this post and have always wanted to visit Bermuda. BTW, thank you for serving!
I see you have the follower button on your blog and am happy to join as a follower. Thanks for making it easy for me -grin-; I'm such a low tech geek and if it's not easy, I don't know how to link.

I joined as follower but when I tried to add you to my "cozy visits" side bar the above message popped up.

We had a great time when we were there. We did not take a cruise ship, we flew. The architecture is something I always enjoy when we travel.

You have some great pictures. The Forts were very interesting. We did a lot of walking, took the bus that goes around the island so we could get some local culture, meet some local folks.

What did you think about the food and restaurants? What struck us was that there are NO fast food places there. The history is they had a Mcdonalds once and there was so much trash from it that they closed it and passed a law that there could be no more fast food places/chains built.

Most of the nice restaurants have basically the same prices, there isn't much competition there. The food was fantastic. We were so hungry for a hamburger or just a sandwich, we finally went to a restaurant for lunch on one side of the island, I forget. It was SOOOO good.

Thanks for sharing.
