Tropical Storm Bonnie:

The second major storm of the season is about to be officially named (but has not yet) and is setting a direct path towards Lousiana.

Currently the weather gurus are calling it TD 3 but if and when it is named it will be known as Tropical Storm or Hurricane Bonnie.

Shortly after this was posted NBC News announced that the storm has officially been declared a tropical storm.
