NBC's "The Voice" Opens Season Finale With Touching Tribute For Sandy Hook Shooting Victims

Three days after the shootings in Newtown, Conn., NBC's reality talent show The Voice kicked off its third season finale with a touching tribute performance for the 20 schoolchildren and 6 adult staff members killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

All 20 of the show's contestants came together on stage, joined by judges Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine, along with hosts Carson Daly and Christina Milian. Each singer held up a placard with the name and age of one of the 26 people killed at the elementary school.

This was a heartfelt performance from The Voice and I loved how the tribute was dedicated to all those innocent people who were tragically killed. I think it was a sad and great way for the season finale of The Voice to come to a close. The Voice’s a great show I watch along with other awesome shows on primetime. I always look forward to the next episode and see what’s going to happen. I watch all the primetime shows I can handle thanks to my DISH Hopper DVR, which records PrimeTime Anytime. This incredible feature has given me the freedom and benefit of getting all four major networks recorded nightly. The thing that makes it frustrating is working evenings and getting things recorded. No more issues of timers and conflicts thanks to my coworker at DISH who told me to get the upgrade. It’s the perfect solution to all the headaches and I can enjoy my shows.
