the nativity story really began with Eve the Easter story really begins with me
I don't know if this is true- that Mary went into labor or that Joseph delivered the Baby Jesus. I heard another explanation that Mary gave birth miraculously without any pain and before labor, according to a prophecy of Isaiah, and also perhaps since she was conceived without sin she would be exempted this consequence of original sin
