The Best Editorial Page you will find is . . .

Investor's Business Daily.  IBD publishes easy-to-read editorials that show in plain English the obvious benefits of free markets and capitalism.  Please pass onto a friend or two.  A sampling:

Welfare: In recent weeks, the idea of a "universal basic income" has shown surprising popularity across the political spectrum, from left to right. The only real question is why, since it's such an awful idea.

Trump And Russia: If there's one thing Congress' Russia hearings have shown, it's that President Trump has driven the Democratic Party and far-left media to near insanity. How else can you explain their unhealthy fixation on all things Trump and nonstop efforts to end his presidency?

Deregulation: Former FBI director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee was the fixation of Washington on Thursday. But the big story was on the House side of Congress, which passed a bill to repeal the ruinous Dodd-Frank banking law.

Health Reform: As Republicans try to figure out how to replace ObamaCare, they are getting viciously attacked by Democrats who claim the GOP plan would take away the law's guarantee to those with pre-existing conditions. But what use is ObamaCare's "guarantee" if there aren't any insurance plans at all?

Secrets: That 25-year-old Reality Winner — yes, that's her real name — was caught giving out top-secret information is no great surprise. After all, she is a far-left anti-Trump activist who called him an "orange fascist" and a "piece of s**t," and once tweeted to rapper Kanye West to suggest he make a T-shirt saying "Being white is terrorism." (For the record, Winner is herself white.)

Media Bias: If you aren't up on the humanitarian crisis now gripping Venezuela, don't feel bad. The mainstream media have been largely ignoring the story, despite the fact that it's unfolding right under our noses.

Regulations: A new study confirms what most people would take as a given — that smaller cars are less safe than bigger cars. So why is the federal government trying to force people into smaller, less-safe vehicles?
