How about the authorities that operate nationwide toll roads allow veterans to ride their roads for free on Veteran's Day? Better yet. How about these authorities take all tolls collected on Veteran's Day and donate it to the many military service organizations; American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, etc. Now you'd be saying something.
Or, even better yet. How about a decent job with a pension, and improve the Veterans Affairs medical system. Is that asking too much?
Keep your donuts and free meals. Don't embarrass us.
