Global Warming Update - Winter Storm to hit Midwest this weekend. 6 - 12 inches possible
Latest Weather model data shows a rather robust surface low will bring Heavy Snow to the North stretching into the great lakes on Saturday. Strong winds are also expected with this storm system with sustain winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph. This is a very late season winter storm that could cause significant impacts to air travel & road travel. Moderate rain combined with snow will likely increase the threat for more localized flooding and river flooding. More details are in the video.

So, I'm sitting here in the 4-8in snow zone looking at the radar telling me first rain, then snow, now ice for the last two hours. Looking out the window at ... none of the above. Weather hype.
