What is racism? What is prejudice? Most people don't know the difference. I'm very prejudiced as I find most black people to be tedious.
I used to try very hard to just move through life being nice to everyone. I am no interested in getting into anyone’s way as far as their achieving whatever it is that they want to achieve, as long as it hurts no one.
Many blacks today have soured me on the whole concept of integration. Not every single black person. However, the blacks who are stuck on seeing every single thing in life through the spectrum of ‘racism” really turn me off to wanting to be around them.
I was not a part of the slave trade. I should not have to start every conversation with an apology for something that not only I did not take part in, but that no black person alive today was a part of.
We will not heal this wound by constantly pulling the scab off.
