FEEL GOOD STORY OF THE WEEK: Stranded bread truck feeds dozens of people stuck on I-95 | Banfield
This should bring a smile to your face - A baking company came to the rescue of dozens of hungry motorists who were stranded on I-95 in Virginia during a snowstorm that snarled traffic for hours.
Schmidt Baking Co is quite large on the east coast. It is the purveyor of the Sunbeam and Old Tyme lines of bread, among others. It isn't some mom and pop outfit. This was simply the right thing to do, and a great PR move. I worked for Schmidt's for three years in my youth loading these very trucks. Overall, it was a good company to work for. Glad to see it worked out and offer some help to those stranded.

Wait til the state government gets them for some kind of health violation. No good deed goes unpunished.
