Mr. and Mrs. Common Cents went to the movies this afternoon to see Top Gun Maverick again. It was the 3rd time for one, 2nd for Mrs. CC.
What a fantastic movie! TGM has everything, it is unabashedly pro-American, it highlights sacrifice over self, it has action scenes from inside F-18s and more. It even has amazing dialogue "Talk to me Goose", "Thank you for saving my life" and "It's time to let go". It's been out since Memorial Day and has lasting power that few movies do.
