Only for people who live beneath hillsides stripped bare by recent fires.
Other than that, or for people who live right on the beach at an altitude of <10' above sea level, this is virtually a non-event.
It's forecast to be a rare breezy summer thunderstorm; that's about it. The biggest suckers are the news media idiots standing at the beach, hoping in vain to catch a disaster.
More likely to be out in the desert with flash flooding than anything notable within 50 miles of the coast, except for the two things mentioned.
