The Rotary club went around Africa doing this years ago. I'm curious as to why it is always necessary for white Americans to do these kinds of basic things for Africans. The Arabs and other oil-rich nations never seem to help those on their own continent - wonder why. It seems a little demeaning to the black people in Africa to see them rushing to welcome their white saviors but, maybe that's just me. In any case, I do applaud those who spend their own time and money to help out others where they can. That is the best quality one can exhibit.
