The Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petah Tikva, east of Tel Aviv, said in a statement that “the condition of the four children and the four women who returned to Israel last night is determined good.” “They are together with their family members in the dedicated and separate compound, surrounded by medical and psycho-social teams,” the statement said. The other five, who are in the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, south of Tel Aviv, have been described as “stable”. They “are being embraced by their families,” the hospital added. Israel’s Prison Service said Saturday it was preparing 42 prisoners for release in the second, suggesting Hamas would release 14 Israeli hostages later today. There has been no official Israeli announcement on the number of hostages to be freed today, though Hamas handed a list of names to the authorities late on Friday and Israel has informed the families.
