This is huge news! Thanks to the tireless work of Scott Presler, who actually moved to Pennsylvania to register new voters, the GOP has overtaken the Democrats in terms of voter registration in Bucks County. This is considered one of the marquee swing districts in the county, it voted for Hillary and Biden in 2016 and 2020 and in April there were 15,000 more Democrats in the county than Republicans! In April's primary, registered Democrats outnumbered Republicans by more than 15,000 voters.
More than 33,000 new voters have registered in Bucks County since then, with Republicans gaining over 17,000 and Democrats losing about 100.
Bucks County has 304 voting districts.
The Bucks County Republican Committee said it has added a couple thousand new registrations since February.
The flip for Republicans is quite a turnaround from how Bucks County residents voted in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump, the then-Republican incumbent, lost the state in 2020, winning 27 of the county's 54 municipalities. Biden beat Trump by more than 16,000 votes in Bucks County.
Registered in Bucks County since then, with Republicans gaining over 17,000 and Democrats losing about 100. Bucks County has 304 voting districts.
