The Israeli army has intensified its offensive against Hezbollah by targeting a bunker allegedly housing millions of dollars in cash and gold, which the IDF claims is used to fund attacks on Israel. Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari stated that the vault was deliberately constructed beneath a residential building, emphasising the need to degrade Hezbollah’s financial capabilities. Additionally, the IDF revealed details about another vault located under Al-Sahel Hospital in Beirut, which is estimated to contain $500 million in cash and gold. As the military continues its operations, it claims to have struck around 300 Hezbollah targets in the last 24 hours. The IDF also claimed that they had killed the key figure responsible for transferring money between Iran and Hezbollah.
