Monitoring Invest 92L in SW Gulf; Tropical depression likely this weekend - Oct. 5, 2024 - Look out Western FL

We are closely monitoring the Gulf of Mexico for the potential tropical development over the next 7 days from what could be Tropical Storm Milton next week. Stay with NBC2 as we monitor the path and track of this potential storm and whether it will have an impact on Southwest Florida.  If it forms into a tropical storm it will be Tropical Storm Milton and maybe eventually Hurricane Milton.
