With the latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm alerts are in effect for parts of coastal Virginia and North Carolina’s Outer Banks as Hurricane Erin approaches the U.S. FOX Weather Meteorologist Ian Oliver explains why these alerts were expanded north on the East Coast.
