The crowd carried signs with messages ranging from “Give Us Liberty Not Debt” to yellow flags saying “Don’t Tread On Me.” Urged on by people with megaphones, the crowd shouted slogans, among them “Remember in November” and “You work for us.”… There were a few tense moments when the crowd moved west down York toward Third Street after the president’s motorcade arrived. A Secret Service agent asked the crowd to move back across the street to the north side. When the crowd didn’t move and began singing “God Bless, America” and the national anthem, Quincy Deputy Police Chief Ron Dreyer called for members of the Mobile Field Force to walk up the street.

The Democrat's WAR on Black America:

The Democratic Party has had a long history of oppressing Blacks in America. Seven Democratic Presidents have owned slaves including Thomas Jefferson, the founder of the modern Democratic Party. Democrats supported slavery and went to war against the United States to defend and extend the institution of slavery. Democrats founded the Klu Klux Klan, supported Jim Crow Laws, opposed the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the US Constitution. In the 20th century famous Democrats including Bull Conner and George Wallace literally blocked school house doors to prevent black children from entering public schools. Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower had to send the National Guard to ensure the schools were integrated. Current US Senator Robert Byrd is a former Klu Klux Klan recruiter (Kleagle) who did his job so well he was rewarded with a US Senate Seat from West Virginia. You an learn more about the Democrats shameful history on race here here here and here (spread the word please)
Jesse Jackson Jr. recently stated in the book Bamboozled: One of the book's many bombshells comes from an interview McGlowan conducted with Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., about the origins of the Confederate flag. On page 134 of Bamboozled, the son of Reverend Jesse Jackson confesses that the Confederate flag, long used as an electoral bludgeon against conservatives and Republicans, is actually a symbol of the Democratic Party: "There is no doubt that the Democratic Party is the party of the Confederacy, historically, that the Democratic Party's flag is the Confederate flag. It was our party's flag. That Jefferson Davis was a Democrat; that Stonewall Jackson strongly identified with the Democratic Party; that secessionists in the South saw themselves as Democrats and were Democrats; that so much of the Democratic Party's history, since it is our nation's oldest political party, has its roots in slavery."In Bamboozled, author Angela McGlowan calls Jackson's admission "stunningly candid" and "a statement both impressive in its historical accuracy and devastating in its implications. McGlowan adds, "Congressman Jackson is an honest Democrat and should be applauded as such."
Everyone knows that Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves was a Republican but did you know that the Republican Party helped establish Black Universities in the south, or that Martin Luther King was a Republican. Amazingly The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is now reviewing Case No. 05-35890 in which a descendant of slavery is suing the Democratic Party demanding an apology for the Democratic Party's support of slavery and segregation. Go figure...

100 straight months at NUMBER 1 - Can you say "Total Domination"?

Fox News continues to completly dominate the competition by in the Cable TV Ratings Wars.  Fox's philosophy of it's Fair and Balanced reporting continue to yield excellent results for them.  Consider:
In the first quarter of 2010, Fox News drew its largest total day audience averages for any quarter in the network's nearly 14 year history; its second largest in primetime.FNC was the only network to show growth in each ratings category and, for the second consecutive quarter, FNC programs were the top 13 in cable news in Total Viewers. FNC also had the top 13 programs in the demo this quarter. Every FNC program was up against Q1 of '09. Two evening news programs, "Special Report with Bret Baier" (2.46M total/541k demo) and "Fox Report with Shepard Smith" (2.11M total/526k demo), each had their best quarters ever. Those programs saw a benefit from FNC's 5pm program hosted by Glenn Beck which saw the largest year-to-year increases of all shows in the demo (up +50%). Greta Van Susteren and Bill O'Reilly were both up more than +20% in the demo compared to Q1 of '09. Fox News was the #2 basic cable network in primetime and averaged more Total Viewers in primetime and total day than CNN, MSNBC, and HLN combined.

Religion and Happiness:

Today's post will explore the relationship between religious practice and improved health. There is overwhelming evidence that people who are religious live longer, happier and healthier lives than their secular counterparts:

ANALYSIS OF STUDIES SHOWS THAT RELIGIOUS INVOLVEMENT MAY BE A FACTOR IN LIVING A LONG LIFE- Forty-Two Studies, Nearly 126,000 People Were Examined

Washington - Nearly 96 percent of Americans believe in God or in some universal spirit, according to a 1995 Gallup poll. Maybe people are more health conscious than previously thought. Regular attendance at one's church, synagogue, mosque or Buddhist monastery is related to longer life, according to a meta-analysis of 42 studies that examined 125,826 people which is reported in the current issue of Health Psychology published by the American Psychological Association (APA). "The odds of survival for people who scored higher on measures of public and private religious involvement were 29 percent higher than those people who scored lower on such measures," said psychologist and lead author Michael E. McCullough, Ph.D., of the National Institute for Healthcare Research. Public religious involvement is defined by how frequently a person attends church or temple, whether a person is a member of a religious organization (a religious kibbutz) or how much spare time a person spends in church or temple activities. Private religious involvement includes measures such as self-rated religiousness, frequency of private prayer and use of religion as a coping resource. Follow-up results indicated that involvement in public religious activity was particularly important in predicting mortality, according to the study. This held true for nearly all the studies individually but was certainly true for the entire group of studies as a whole.. "Moreover, results seemed to indicate that those people with a high level of religious involvement were also less obese. Read about it here.
Another study reported by the BBC detailed the relationship between religious people and happiness. Specifically:
Religious people are better able to cope with shocks such as losing a job or divorce, claims the study presented to a Royal Economic Society conference. Data from thousands of Europeans revealed higher levels of "life satisfaction" in believers. However, researcher Professor Andrew Clark said other aspects of a religious upbringing unrelated to belief may influence future happiness. It is not the first study to draw links between religion and happiness, with a belief among many psychologists that some factor in either belief, or its observance, offering benefits.Professor Clark, from the Paris School of Economics, and co-author Dr Orsolya Lelkes from the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, used information from household surveys to analyse the attitudes of Christians - both Catholic and Protestant - not only to their own happiness, but also to issues such as unemployment. Their findings, they said, suggested that religion could offer a "buffer" which protected from life's disappointments. Professor Clark said: "We originally started the research to work out why some European countries had more generous unemployment benefits than others, but our analysis suggested that religious people suffered less psychological harm from unemployment than the non-religious. "They had higher levels of life satisfaction". Read about it here.
Finally this link details over 25 separate studies detailing the practice of religious activity improves health and increases longevity. Read it here.

The Best Editorial Page you will find

is easily Investor's Business Daily.  IBD publishes easy to read editorials that expose free market solutions to the World's problems.  For example:

Health Care:  An analysis from an objective source — Medicare's actuary — says ObamaCare will increase costs and relies on projected savings that may be unrealistic. Now isn't that a surprise?

MisgovernanceBarely a month after the 2,600-page health care bill became law, Congress has teed up another landmark piece of legislation: a 1,600-page financial overhaul. So what's the big hurry?

Education:  A merit-pay plan for teachers in the nation's capital is being dragged down by its costs. More choice would give families what they need — and would be a whole lot cheaper.

Taxes:  The news that the U.S. has become a two-class society — i.e., half of Americans pay federal income taxes and half don't — has bounced around the media and shocked Americans. Most people had no knowledge of this appalling economic fact.

Victor David Hanssen:  Current American relations with our once-staunch ally Israel are at their lowest ebb in the last 50 years

Enacting Reform:  Are the Democrats who want to place price controls on premiums trying to destroy the health insurance business? If we didn't know better, we'd say yes. And we do know better — don't we?

Politics:  It's bad enough having a jobless recovery with jobs "saved or created" in nonexistent congressional districts and ZIP codes. Now the administration is measuring stimulus progress by moving the starting point.

INDEPENDENT REPORT SHOWS INCREASED COSTS FOR OBAMACARE!

No big surprise here but what is surprising is that USA Today had the temerity to print this.  Obviously, adding 34 million people and cutting the number of doctors will lead to increased costs and rationing.  Hopefully the courts will rule this Crap Sandwich unconstitutional.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama's health care overhaul law will increase the nation's health care tab instead of bringing costs down, government economic forecasters concluded Thursday in a sobering assessment of the sweeping legislation. A report by economic experts at the Health and Human Services Department said the health care remake will achieve Obama's aim of expanding health insurance — adding 34 million Americans to the coverage rolls. But the analysis also found that the law falls short of the president's twin goal of controlling runaway costs. It also warned that Medicare cuts may be unrealistic and unsustainable, driving about 15% of hospitals into the red and "possibly jeopardizing access" to care for seniors. The mixed verdict for Obama's signature issue is the first comprehensive look by neutral experts. In particular, the warnings about Medicare could become a major political liability for Democratic lawmakers in the midterm elections. Seniors are more likely to vote than younger people and polls show they are already deeply skeptical of the law. The report from Medicare's Office of the Actuary carried a disclaimer saying it does not represent the official position of the Obama administration. White House officials have repeatedly complained that such analyses have been too pessimistic and lowball the law's potential to achieve savings.

Help send Charles Djou to the US House in the upcoming Special Election

Charles Djou is running for Neal Abercrombie's old seat in Hawaii, which coincidentelly was Barack Obama's home district.  Today he is running a MONEY BOMB and is closing in on $100,000.

Lets donate to send Charles Djou, a US Military Veteran to the US House of Representatives.  The race is extremely close - a Kos Poll has Djou up by 3 points.

Councilmember Charles K. Djou currently represents the 4th Council District (Waikiki to Hawaii Kai). In the City Council, Charles serves as the Chairman of the Executive Matters and Legal Affairs Committee and is a member of the Public Infrastructure, Budget, and Public Safety and Services Committes. Charles previously served as a Representative in the Hawaii State House, where he was the Minority Floor Leader.
Raised on Oahu, Charles spent most of his life in Hawaii.  Charles graduated from Punahou School and earned both a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, graduating magna cum laude with distinction.  Charles earned his law degree from the University of Southern California.
Outside of the City Council, Charles serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.  He teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii - West Oahu.

Please help begin the process of firing Nancy Pelosi by electing Republican Charles Djou.  Contribute to his Money Bomb here.

UPDATES: More Liberal Attacks on Conseratives

Hat Tip to Gateway Pundit.

Liberals have always been a violent group.  Any Police Chief knows that when there is a Leftist Protest you have to call out the riot police, and form rows of heavily armed specially trained officers in full riot gear.  Think of any of the protests at the G-8 Conference.  At the Republican National Convention in 2008 Liberals dropped sandbags and other objects from overpasses onto buses heading to the RNC Convention.  Conversely, when Conservatives gather, such as the Tea Party Activists they pick up their own trash.  It is like a Church Picnic and the police know it.

Gateway Pundit captured a latest example of this, a man arrested at a Karl Rove book signing.

Of course the Left-Wing State Run Media is silent on this.

James Taranto - "Why the Left needs Racism"

Superlative Wall St. Journal editorial by James Taranto exposing why the Left needs Racism to exist - "It serves a political purpose".  Taranto makes the point that to keep the US Black population voting for Democratic Candidates by upwards of 90% (Obama got 95% of the Black Vote) the Left has to foster the myth that the United States is a racist country.

The political left claims to love racial diversity, but it bitterly opposes such diversity on the political right. This is an obvious matter of political self-interest: Since 1964, blacks have voted overwhelmingly Democratic. If Republicans were able to attract black votes, the result would be catastrophic for the Democratic Party. Even in 2008, the Democrats' best presidential year since '64, if the black vote had been evenly split between the parties (and holding the nonblack vote constant), Barack Obama would have gotten about 48% of the vote and John McCain would be president.
To keep blacks voting Democratic, it is necessary for the party and its supporters to keep alive the idea that racism is prevalent in America and to portray the Republican Party (as well as independent challengers to the Democrats, such as the tea-party movement) as racist. The election of Barack Obama made nonsense of the idea that America remains a racist country and thereby necessitated an intensifying of attacks on the opposition as racist.

On day in history - The Civil War Begins:

April 12, 1861 - The bloodiest four years in American history begin when Confederate shore batteries under General P.G.T. Beauregard open fire on Union-held Fort Sumter in South Carolina's Charleston Bay. During the next 34 hours, 50 Confederate guns and mortars launched more than 4,000 rounds at the poorly supplied fort. On April 13, U.S. Major Robert Anderson surrendered the fort. Two days later, U.S. President Abraham Lincoln issued a proclamation calling for 75,000 volunteer soldiers to quell the Southern "insurrection."
As early as 1858, the ongoing conflict between North and South over the issue of slavery had led Southern leadership to discuss a unified separation from the United States. By 1860, the majority of the slave states were publicly threatening secession if the Republicans, the anti-slavery party, won the presidency. Following Republican Abraham Lincoln's victory over the divided Democratic Party in November 1860, South Carolina immediately initiated secession proceedings. On December 20, the South Carolina legislature passed the "Ordinance of Secession," which declared that "the Union now subsisting between South Carolina and other states, under the name of the United States of America, is hereby dissolved." After the declaration, South Carolina set about seizing forts, arsenals, and other strategic locations within the state. Within six weeks, five more Southern states--Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana--had followed South Carolina's lead.
In February 1861, delegates from those states convened to establish a unified government. Jefferson Davis of Mississippi was subsequently elected the first president of the Confederate States of America. When Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated on March 4, 1861, a total of seven states (Texas had joined the pack) had seceded from the Union, and federal troops held only Fort Sumter in South Carolina, Fort Pickens off the Florida coast, and a handful of minor outposts in the South. Four years after the Confederate attack on Fort Sumter, the Confederacy was defeated at the total cost of 620,000 Union and Confederate soldiers dead.

The Highest Quality Cars are

again largely Domestic Made!  A couple of weeks ago JD Powers released it's Most-Dependable Cars list again.  This list is the most comprehensive study done in the industry.  It is done on 3-year old (2007) cars and is conducted by contacting owners of those cars.  The study is done via problems per 100 cars with a lower number being better. The 2010 Vehicle Dependability Study is based on responses from more than 52,000 original owners of 2007 model-year vehicles. The study was fielded between October and December 2009.
Porsche leads the overall nameplate rankings in 2010, which is consistent with its performance in the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Initial Quality Study,SM which measures new-vehicle quality at 90 days of ownership. Lincoln improves by six rank positions from 2009 to follow Porsche in the nameplate rankings. Rounding out the top five nameplates are Buick, Lexus and Mercury. In addition, seven of the 10 models with the lowest incidence of problems in the industry are from Ford and General Motors, including the 2007 model-year Buick Lacrosse, Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Ford Five Hundred, Lincoln MKZ, Mercury Milan, and Mercury Montego. The Cadillac DTS has the fewest problems in the industry, with just 76 problems per 100 vehicles. This marks the first time in more than a decade that a model from a domestic automaker has achieved the lowest PP100 score in the Vehicle Dependability Study.
Common Cent's own study of the chart shows that 3 of the top 5 nameplates are Domestic (Buick, Lincoln and Mercury) and six Domestic Brands exceed the industry average in quality.

On the other end of the scale, the lowest ranked cars is very revealing.  The worst three brands were Imports (Land Rover, Suzuki and Volkswagen) and 7 of the 8 (82.5%) of the worst cars made are imports!  When was the last time your heard that?  I guess the State Run Media conveniently forgets to mention good news.

And for the first time in 10 years the most dependable car, the highest quality car available is a Domestic, the Cadillac DTS with just 76 problems per 100 cars!  Have you heard this - the Highest Quality Car available is an American Car???

Toyota, finished in sixth place overall.

TOTAL DOMINATION: Fox news dominates the Cable TV ratings:

Last week's ratings confirmed a trend that has been brewing for some time. In every time slot Fox News continues to dominate its competition. They are getting more viewers than CNN, Headline News and MSNBC COMBINED. Fox has a winning combination of "Fair and Balanced" reporting and is one of the few places the public has to go to avoid the State Run Media juggernaut. Here are last week's numbers:
Fox News Channel continued its dominance in the cable news universe becoming the second most-watched basic cable channel for the first three months of this year, only behind USA Network. FNC also had the top 13 programs in cable news in both Total Viewers and younger viewers.FNC was the only network to show growth in each ratings category and, for the second consecutive quarter, FNC programs were the top 13 in cable news in Total Viewers. FNC also had the top 13 programs in the demo this quarter. Every FNC program was up against Q1 of '09. The Climategate Coverup:

A huge Hat Tip to Tom M of Northern Virginia.  As all Common Cents readers know Climategate is one of the great untold stories of the 21st Century.  More than that Climategate shows the extent that the Global Warming Religion will lie, cheat and manipulate data to achieve their ends.  The reality is the earth has been cooling for since at least 1998.  The German magazine Der Spiegel recently ran an article that should have been run in newspapers all across the US:
Life has become "awful" for Phil Jones. Just a few months ago, he was a man with an enviable reputation: the head of the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, an expert in his field and the father of an alarming global temperature curve that apparently showed how the Earth was heating up as a result of anthropogenic global warming. Those days are now gone.Nowadays, Jones, who is at the center of the "Climategate" affair involving hacked CRU emails, needs medication to fall sleep. He feels a constant tightness in his chest. He takes beta-blockers to help him get through the day. He is gaunt and his skin is pallid. He is 57, but he looks much older. He was at the center of a research scandal that hit him as unexpectedly as a rear-end collision on the highway. His days are now shaped by investigative commissions at the university and in the British Parliament. He sits on his chair at the hearings, looking miserable, sometimes even trembling. The Internet is full of derisive remarks about him, as well as insults and death threats. "We know where you live," his detractors taunt.  Jones is finished: emotionally, physically and professionally. He has contemplated suicide several times recently, and he says that one of the only things that have kept him from doing it is the desire to watch his five-year-old granddaughter grow up.
'100 Percent Confident'
One of the conclusions of his famous statistical analysis of the world's climate is that the average temperature on Earth rose by 0.166 degrees Celsius per decade between 1975 and 1998. This, according to Jones, was the clear result of his research and that of many other scientists. "I am 100 percent confident that the climate has warmed," Jones says imploringly. "I did not manipulate or fabricate any data." His problem is that the public doesn't trust him anymore. Since unknown hackers secretly copied 1,073 private emails between members of his research team and published them on the Internet, his credibility has been destroyed -- and so has that of an entire profession that had based much of its work on his research until now. Those who have always viewed global warming as a global conspiracy now feel a sense of satisfaction. The so-called climate skeptics feel vindicated, because Jones, in his written correspondence with colleagues, all of them leading members of the climate research community, does not come across as an objective scientist, but rather as an activist or missionary who views "his" data as his personal shrine and is intent on protecting it from the critical eyes of his detractors.

One of Pournelle's Laws states "You can prove anything if you can make up your data." I
will now add another Pournelle's Law: "You can prove anything if you can keep your
algorithms secret."

Happy Easter:

Luke 24 (New International Version)

 The Resurrection
1On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " 8Then they remembered his words. 9When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

Good Friday Post:

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.  And sitting down they watched him there;  And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. . . . .
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?  Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.  And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.  The Gospel of Matthew 27:35-37, 45-53

The Passion of Jesus Christ - The Book of John - Chapter 19
1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
